Dear Future Homeowners,

We moved to Maplewood seven years ago looking for a new adventure. Neither of us are from New Jersey and knew little of the town prior to moving into town. It was terrifying but the best thing we ever did. The house has had only a handful of owners. Each family has worked hard to maintain and preserve the beauty of the home, while also making it their own. Our home is perfectly placed between Maplewood’s village and Springfield Avenue. We’ve been able to get by with only having one car because there’s so much within walking distance from our home. Though it is so convenient to be within walking distance to so many amenities and amazing stores and restaurants, it’s really the people on the street that make leaving Maplewood so bittersweet. It sounds unbelievable, but we know everyone on the street, we look after one another, and try to find moments throughout the year to connect as a community.
