Dear Future Owners,

We would like to share our perspective on 67 Haggerty Drive and this wonderful neighborhood. 

We were initially drawn to this home for its modern curb appeal, spacious interior, and beautiful back yard. When we purchased the house, the interior design was plain and simple. Thankfully, my husband is extremely talented when it comes to home renovations. He added modern lighting throughout the home, custom wainscoting in the dining room and upstairs bedroom, a drop zone, new paint in almost every room in the house and numerous smaller details that make the house feel luxurious and comfortable. The result is a truly beautiful, move-in ready home!

The house is nicely laid out and well designed. The open floor plan on the first floor makes for easy entertaining whether you’re having a large party or simply making dinner for your family. The upstairs bedrooms are spacious with large closets and attached bathrooms. And second floor laundry will change your life, seriously, you’ll never go back! The back deck has beautiful, nature views where you can bird watch in the morning or view the sunset in the evenings. The fenced in backyard is perfect for kids and dogs. 

The neighborhood is very family friendly. There is playground a few houses down, where many of the kids gather on the weekends and after school. There’s also a WhatsApp group that you can join to stay connected to the neighbors. Through the group chat, neighbors ask for referrals for home maintenance services, landscapers/snow removal, and they even planned a Halloween trick or treat. It’s been a great way to connect with other families.

Living in West Orange provided us the best of both worlds. We loved coming home to our quiet, suburban house after a hectic day in New York City. Haggerty Drive tends to be peaceful with relatively low traffic. Traveling into the city is easy, as the jitney stops right in front of the house on weekdays and goes to the South Orange train station. There is even a jitney that will bring you back home after the workday. 

We also enjoyed living close to the Turtle Back Zoo- it’s only a mile away. There is a nice walking path adjacent to the zoo, where we’ve taken many family walks around the lake, and even paddled out a swan boat. There is also an amazing, pirate-ship-themed playground on the property that our daughter loved to explore. 

We hope you find the house as charming as we have and enjoy everything that West Orange has to offer.
