Welcome to 321 Boyden Avenue in Maplewood. We’ve enjoyed so much about living here and all the wonderful experiences we’ve had here. This house is ready for the next homeowner to truly move right in. We’ve made a number of improvements to the house that will make living here easy and enjoyable from Day 1, including updated electrical, dishwasher, disposal, new washer and dryer, new hot water heater, built-ins, and updated plumbing.

In early spring, the Cherry Blossom tree in the front yard is absolutely gorgeous, with delicate and fragrant pink flowers. It is a real stunner in the neighborhood! We’ve added so many tulips, daffodils, lilacs, and lilies in the front and backyard, as well as many other perennial plants and flowers. There are two magnificent hydrangea plants on the side of the house and a red rose bush flanks the front of the house. The whole entire house gets wonderful light. You can sit and relax on the windowed porch and enjoy the tree, some fresh air, and the neighborhood. The Hilton neighborhood community has incredibly warm and friendly people; we’ve made great friends here.

You can make delicious home-cooked meals in the updated kitchen, serving one or even more than a dozen! One of our greatest memories was hosting a special holiday meal for 15 in the house. The open concept living/dining room is a fantastic space that can accommodate a large group or a family movie night. A TV fits perfectly above the fireplace, with plenty of space to work from home, have friends over, or just relax.The back patio, designed in a chevron pattern, is the ideal location for barbecues, and relaxing. It gets great sunlight, which is perfect for growing more flowers, plants and raised garden beds. The trees in the backyard provide shade and privacy and the lawn is plenty big for outdoor play. At night, the string lights are the perfect backdrop for impromptu get-togethers, cocktails, or intimate dinner parties.

The street has plenty of parking for guests and the house is easily accessible to Routes 78, 22, the Garden State Parkway, multiple NJ Transit bus or train stations, and the town jitney stops a block away on Boyden. You can also walk to the Hilton library, the town pool, a few parks, Walgreens and Honey&Hive for ice cream (lavender is our favorite flavor!), as well as to Arties or Porto Rosso, our favorite for Italian food to prepare at home.

At the end of a busy day, you will find a peaceful retreat in the primary bedroom on the second floor in the back of the house. It is quiet and completely tranquil. The second bedroom has morning sunshine and has served us well as both an office and a guest room. We hope you enjoy everything that 321 Boyden Avenue has to offer. Welcome Home!
