NJY Camps is one of the largest Jewish camping organizations in the world, serving more than 1600 campers in our overnight camps. We are composed of four different programs: Camp Nah-Jee-Wah serves boys and girls from grades 1 through 6; Cedar Lake Camp, grades 7 through 9; and Teen Camp, grades 10 through 11. Round Lake is a special needs inclusion program serving children and adolescents with mild autism, ADHD, learning disabilities and social skill disorders in a fully inclusive environment as part of Camp Nah-Jee-Wah & Cedar Lake Camp.
Through our various camp programs, we are able to cater to the needs of each age group while maintaining a continuous camp experience. Each program offers elective based activities where campers choose between 25+ activities in grades 1-6 and over 50 in grades 7 and up – the options are endless! With vast offerings in the arts, sciences, athletics, high ropes, and waterfront, NJY Camps truly has something for the camper in every child!
In addition to all of the incredible activities, NJY helps to foster a “joyfully Jewish” atmosphere where community and culture are at the forefront. NJY holds vibrant Shabbat services Friday nights and Saturday morning, in addition to other cultural offerings within our camp programming.
A home away from home to thousands of campers each summer and rich with over 100+ years of history, NJY is a camping community like no other!
