  • Activities offered: Each day at Camp Poyntelle is designed to offer our campers the chance to learn and grow, while having fun with friends doing what they love! We believe in a structured program that features daily core camp activities such as lake, outdoor adventure, arts and crafts and sports. Built into that schedule are at least 2 daily electives that allow our campers to customize their summer experience and spend more time at activities they are passionate about. Our weeks are packed with special themed days, off-camp trips, sports tournaments and creative programming to ensure we are offering an exciting and action packed summer program for all ages and interests.

  • Safety Protocols: In partnership with the Secure Community Network (SCN), Commonpoint, and the local county, staff are thoroughly trained to be able to offer a safe and nurturing environment for all campers. Additionally Camp Poyntelle, operates its own health center staffed by a doctor and several registered nurses, making all routine or unexpected visits comfortable and efficient.  Our aim is to always be safe and healthy so that we can best enjoy the summer. We require all staff and campers to be fully vaccinated and submit a yearly physical prior to camp. Sanitizing and other health protocols are in place all summer long, and are supported by our onsite medical team.
