When we first saw 47 Bowdoin Street we were immediately drawn to the spectacular backyard and deck with ample space for playdates and hosting gatherings of family,
friends, and neighbors. We grill year round, we host parties and love hanging out outside in the evenings enjoying beautiful summer sunsets. We even started a yearly tradition of hosting a campout in our backyard for a fun filled night of tents, smores, and games. It’s been magical!

Inside is a warm and spacious home perfectly suited for family life. The eat-in-kitchen is a daily source of delight as we hear about the school day and prepare meals with the children sitting at the kitchen table or spread out on the floor. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our large finished basement which serves as a spacious guest room with a private bath,
gym and office. The children have rooms large enough for fort building, toys galore, and spontaneous musicals full of little kid imagination.

Outside our door, we never could have imagined the incredible community of vibrant families on Bowdoin Street. We cherish frequent evening walks or scooter rides on what
our family has coined ‘the Bowdoin Loop’. We always run into friendly faces and share warm neighborly exchanges. The yearly neighborhood Easter egg hunt and festive Halloween celebrations have become highlights for our children.

We’ve cherished the walkability of our neighborhood, with easy access to our favorite butcher on Springfield Avenue, the Maplewood Village, and the local schools. Whether
getting a chocolate chip scone from Able Baker or browsing the shelves at Words bookstore, we’ve loved having these local treasures within walking distance. The short and beautiful walk to the train is such a convenience!
