Dear Future Homeowner,
We are so pleased that you are considering purchasing our home. This house has been a very special place to us, and we hope it will bring you as much happiness as it has brought our family.
Before we moved in, we were drawn to the historic beauty of this house in particular, in a neighborhood full of beautiful homes. We met several neighbors long before making an offer and every one of them expressed how much they loved living in the neighborhood and encouraged us to not miss the opportunity, especially those on Stanley Road. It’s a very special block and frankly feels kind of magical; very, very quiet and peaceful.
Over the last four years, we have especially loved having the space to entertain and even invite friends and family to come and stay with us here; we hope you will create your own wonderful memories here.
One of the things we will miss most is how comfortable the house feels. Mornings start with the sunrise through the front of the house, then the whole house feels bright, but warm and sunny most of the day until after the sunset shines through the back into the garden room. On less-sunny days, it’s still surprisingly bright and open feeling and the gas fireplace in the living room has been one of our favorite upgrades. Beyond the house and the yard, the community here is truly special, and we know you will feel welcomed right away.
We have taken great care of this home and made several updates, including most wonderfully the absolute dream of a primary suite. We started with improving the primary bedroom and the flow into what is now a fabulous walk-in closet, laundry, and then a luxurious truly spa-quality bathroom. What was once 2 small awkward rooms that never got used well is now part of an oasis that we have enjoyed every single day.
The front yard has been lovingly planted into what feels like our own private little park. It’s a peaceful and beautiful garden all times of day. It’s been planted with mostly natives and pollinator friendly perennials for lasting natural beauty that, now established, will be largely very low-maintenance. Our dogs, Homer and Simpson have been spoiled to call the huge backyard mostly theirs, though they’re happy to let us enjoy the patio area especially.
While it is bittersweet for us to move on, we are excited for the next chapter and for someone new to enjoy everything this home has to offer. We sincerely hope it will be the perfect place for you to call your own.
Thank you for considering our home.
Warm regards,
The Sellers
