Dear Future Homeowner,

We’d like to start off by saying that we absolutely love this house. When we chose this as our first home purchase almost 3 years ago, we were so excited to move in. It was one of the most beautiful houses we’d seen and ended up being a perfect fit for our family. As our priorities are changing, we feel this is a good time to say goodbye and allow a new family to enjoy this wonderful home.

The House
The first floor is one of our favorite parts of the house. The living room gets tons of light and is such a cozy place to wind down on the weekends. The kitchen is bright with the right amount of counter space, perfect for cooking all of our meals. A favorite area of ours is the sunroom. Surrounded by windows, it was such a great place to read a book or meditate in the early morning hours.
The backyard has hosted two of our son’s birthdays as well as a few family BBQs. The new platform deck and fire pit completely transformed the space! Lastly, our completely finished basement has been a great area for our family. Whether we’re watching a game or movie on one side, or playing with puzzles or homeschooling on the other side – that space has been a saving grace during this crazy time.

The Neighbors
Truly, the best neighbors you could ask for. We were welcomed with open arms and have formed friendships that will last a lifetime. Overlook is the central point between several of the other surrounding streets so we’ve had the opportunity to shut down the street and host a few events as a community. We have an annual block party and we recently held a socially distant magician perform for the kids (which was a nice break from being stuck indoors!). Everyone is kind, generous and really a wealth of knowledge for new homeowners.

The Town
Maplewood is a gem of a town. Between the great activities and the amazing restaurants, you really can’t find a better place. Both adults work in NYC and commuted every day with no major issues.
