A totally unique community of dancers, the LJD Dance Camp encourages the heartwarming and beautiful creative impulse in all of our young dancers! Offering both ballet and contemporary technique, as well as guest workshops in Broadway Jazz and Hip Hop, the day also includes an extended choreography workshop. The dances the students create are shared with family and friends each Friday at a special performance. With an individuated curriculum that allows us to work with each dancer on their alignment and technique, the camp has been acclaimed for both its excellence and its focus on creativity. The LJD professional dancers teach and perform at special Open Rehearsals at camp creating a strong link between the school and the professional New York dancers. Camp is offered for 3 weeks in July and dancers can choose to attend single weeks or all three. Each week offers something new.
