Camp Galil

Camp Galil

A place where kids from all streams of Jewish life build lifelong friendships. A place where independence is treasured. A place where campers have fun while learning and living the values of kindness, inclusion, and Tikkun Olam (healing the world). A place that celebrates cultural Judaism in the kibbutz tradition. A place where the next generation of leaders is emerging. It’s Camp Galil.

Camp Galil is a progressive Zionist, rustic overnight Jewish summer camp for campers in 2nd-11th grade. At Camp Galil, we instill Jewish values and build Jewish identity while teaching leadership skills and empowering campers to be social justice activists. Parents who want to foster independence and confidence love the way Galil nurtures their kids and inspires them to make the world a better place.

Health and Safety Protocols: Keeping our campers and staff safe and healthy is our number one priority at Camp Galil, and we have many ways in which we approach that priority. Camp Galil is an American Camp Association-accredited camp, and we meet or exceed all national and state requirements, and follow best practices in the field. Our health center is staffed 24/7, and our staff receive extensive training on how to respond to a variety of scenarios ranging from weather to emotional/mental health to physical security and more. Additionally, we work closely with our partners in the Jewish community and local law enforcement to follow best practices in security.
